Looking to recruit motivated volunteers to support many sessions that we deliver through our Health and Well-being department.

Graduate roles and Summer Internships with NCS – Rotherham United
Employer Presentation – Heart of the Campus Thursday 15 Feb: 4pm-5pm

We are recruiting Team Leaders and Assistants to support teams of up to 15 young people through our summer NCS programme. The applicant should be a passionate individual with experience and knowledge of working with groups of young people.

Team Leaders and Assistants lead, inspire and develop their team of participants through the NCS programme, two weeks of which, will involve staying and working residentially. Team Leaders will support and lead the other staff allocated to their team (Team Assistant and Volunteers) to ensure the successful delivery of the NCS experience. Assistants will support the team leader in providing an amazing summer experience for their group of young people

Match Day Assistants (voluntary) – Sheffield United Football Club

This position will be a match day role to help support with a range of match day activities. This will be varied but will involve supervising some Under 16 volunteers, helping to organise ball boys, helping with ticket collection, accompanying visitors, supporting various staff, support for designated games for Kick it Out and Level Playing Field. We are looking at several positions so you would not need to be available every game.

Starting August 2018 through to May 2019. The position will be required over holiday periods. 4-5 hours per week, mid-week and weekend matches.

Volunteers – VI Cricket Team – Sheffield Royal Society for the Blind

SRSB are looking to start up a Visually Impaired cricket team based in Rotherham and we need some sighted supporters to assist the cricketers. There are details below:

The first date is February 23rd which is a cricket session and a taster session for various sports so the group can decide which sports they wish to focus on for the first full session.

The dates booked after this are: Friday 23rd March; Friday 6th April; Friday April 20th; Friday May 4th; Friday May 18th  The sessions will run from 11am-1.30pm

The venue will be Herringthorpe church hall or the  playing fields dependent on the weather. Transport from Sheffield will be provided.
