GradVantage is a package of activities and support for Level 6 students to help you make the transition from study to job.  This includes coaching, Webinars, GradVantage Boost (group sessions); Hallam Internships and the Rise Scheme.

You have our support for 5 years after you complete you course.

Hallam Internship Scheme

The University is offering a funded internship scheme, to support students wanting to gain quality work experience to support employability after graduation. You will have the chance to apply for over 200 internships offered by employers on UniHub. Alternatively you can apply for funding for unpaid work experience that you have found yourself.

Sports Coordinator – Paid Internship

RISE Sheffield City Region is a major city region-wide initiative to increase graduate employment in small and medium sized businesses in the area.

Funding and Grants Co-ordinator – Shefield International Venues (SIV)

Are you passionate about improving health & wellbeing? Are you passionate about developing people and communities?  Are you passionate about helping those most in need?

Walking Football Coordinator – Sheffield and Hallam County FA

The 5 aside league currently caters for teams at the Over 60s age group but we’d like to expand this and offer a separate division for Over 50s and if the interest is there, an open age division.  We are looking for up to three people to help run the league which will include organising monthly fixtures, liaising with venues/facilities and team registration.  Fixtures take place once per month, currently on a Wednesday afternoon in Doncaster.

Football Systems Operator (Freelance) – Hawk Eye Technologies

Hawk Eye are recruiting a freelance system operator within their expanding football department. This is an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of sports technology in top-flight football leagues as part of a young and dynamic team. They are offering this role in several locations across the UK and will involve the set up and operation of our goal-line technology (GLT) and video assistant referee (VAR) systems alongside a full-time GLT/VAR operator. Working hours are predominantly scheduled around match times, involving weekend and evenings.

Netball Coach (Freelance) – Tryumph Health

Netball coach required once a fortnight to lead a netball session for teenagers. A level 2 sports qualification is required (not necessarily in netball). DBS check also preferable.

Assistant Football Coach – SGP Thorncliffe 

SGP Thorncliffe are looking for an FA qualified football coach to assist with their girls’ Wildcats Football Centre.  Wildcats Centres are aimed at girls aged 5-11 years old and provide a weekly football opportunity which focuses on fun, fitness and friends.  Sessions take place at SGP Thorncliffe (S35 5HY) on Fridays from 5:00-6:00 pm.

You will be working alongside a coach from Sheffield FC and your role will be to support the delivery of coaching sessions.

Paid Coaching Opportunities

Qualitas Sports Coaching is seeking to employ a number of dynamic, enthusiastic and committed sports coaches (Must have minimum NGB level 2 coaching qualification) which would initially be on a casual or part time capacity during the summer.

This would potentially lead to full time employment from September 2018.

The areas of work would be within the Chesterfield, Sheffield and around the Derbyshire & South Yorkshire area.

Reporting to the Senior Management Team, you will be responsible for the planning and delivery of fun based sporting activities including curricular and extra curricular sessions within the school environment, working in adherence to the company’s 5Es philosophy.
