GoGlobal Fair Check In opens soon ……
The GoGlobal Fair lands on Campus on Wednesday, 6th of February 11am until 2pm.
What’s happening on the day;
You can attend the fair at whatever time you like, or meet me at Collegiate Hall at 12:30pm to join a ‘walking bus’ to the fair.
26 global employers will be on campus with internships and voluntary work opportunities across the globe. For full details of employers attending and the opportunities they offer – FOLLOW THIS LINK
Alongside the Fair, we have 3 employer presentations where students can hear 1 hour long information sessions. 3 very different but equally exciting opportunities with a truly global feel. See below for details and booking links;

Join a team of 20 student volunteers whilst living in a remote and traditional Fijian community for 4 weeks
⎫ BOOK NOW = CRCC Asia and #GenerationUK: Funded China Internship – 2pm until 3pm – Careers Connect – City Campus
Give yourself the edge when applying for jobs and boost your employability by participating in a two-month FUNDED British Council Generation UK internship via CRCC Asia. 14 industry sectors, 3 booming cities!
At the entrance of the fair will be The Hallam Award team, Erasmus information stand and also The GoGlobal Fund offer. Prior to ‘boarding the plane’, you will have an opportunity to consider what skills you will be developing and how you could break down one of the biggest barriers to finding overseas work ….. funding and cost*. The departure lounge area will allow you to receive advice from 3 key support networks to help reassert the value of overseas working.
*Please be aware that there will be costs involved which may include flights; accomodation and living expenses. The organisations will be able to provide a breakdown of costs (and also earnings for paid opportunities) and also potential opportunities to fundraise where applicable.
